Safeguarding

Safeguarding is paramount in all we do. Our policies and procedures support the safety, protection and well being of our children, staff and visitors.

We work tirelessly to ensure that we review and reflect in all areas of the field of safeguarding.

Our Curriculum in school promotes teaching, understanding and learning within a wide variety of safeguarding focus areas. We promote these and adapt our teaching to be relevant and impactful to the needs of our children. This can be through E-safety focus lessons (and National E-safety month in February) to visits, assemblies and work in areas like road safety, railway and canal safety due to the location of the school to these features.

We promote safeguarding matters directly with parents and wider community in many ways including through our newsletters, letters and Instagram account:
